Children’s Swimming Lessons
Personalised Swim Coaching for Children
Confidence in the Water. Skill for Life.
At NAGER London, we offer personalised swim coaching for children in London designed to build genuine water confidence and structured skill development. Every child deserves to feel safe, capable and calm in the water without being rushed or placed into large, one-size-fits-all group lessons.
Our children’s programme is carefully structured to develop real swimming ability through progressive, hands-on coaching. With over 30 years of experience, we focus on clear technical foundations rather than reliance on flotation aids or gimmicks. Each stage builds body awareness, discipline and independence in a calm, professional environment.

Beginners (Ages 4+)
Building Comfort, Body Awareness and Water Safety For children new to swimming, we prioritise emotional ease and physical confidence. Through gentle, guided instruction, we introduce balance, buoyancy, breath control and safe submersion without over-reliance on pool aids, which can delay independent skill development. Children learn to: • Float and move independently • Understand depth awareness and water safety • Develop correct posture and breath timing • Feel composed in different aquatic environments This level establishes a strong technical foundation and consists of two progressive stages.
Intermediate to Advanced Stroke Development and Technical Refinement
For children already comfortable in the water, sessions focus on refining stroke technique, coordination and endurance. We develop: • All four strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly • Controlled breathing and rhythm • Streamlined body position • Starts, turns and transitions • Stamina and aquatic agility The emphasis is not simply on swimming further, but on swimming with precision, efficiency and control. This level includes five progressive stages.
